The Blessing That Brought a Lost Son Home

My friends, I distribute your leaflets about the power of words. It is wonderful. My name is Jacob I live in Kalemie and I am 16 years old. I returned to my family one month ago because of your children’s blessing conference.

I first entered the meeting thinking I might be chased away because I was older. I did not come to listen but because I heard there would be food. But I discovered something completely different — the power contained in blessing.

I had been a night criminal, a thief, a street child, and I smoked cannabis four times a day. A young missionary told me that God loves me and has a wonderful plan for my life — that I could marry and have a stable home and bless my life.

Now I want to return to school. I have gone back to my parents and now share your message with other children. I want to be baptized and become a missionary like the young people I met. I bless you in the name of Jesus.”
