Eyesight healed after blessing

This young Tanzanian lady is a medical student. Just before her Masters exam she broke her spectacles that she had had for 8 years. 

 Very worried, her family called the Bishop who had attended a blessing seminar 2 weeks earlier. He came to her home with a copy of the Awesome Power of Blessing in Swahili.  
He spoke a father’s blessing over her and blessed her eyes in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then he told her to read the book.  
 
She could read it without glasses, did the exam without glasses and doesn’t need glasses anymore. Praise God!  Click images to view video. 

On Friday nights, we have a Bible study for youth and young adults. At the end of the study, while in smaller prayer groups, one of the boys wanted prayer for his knee. He had hurt it playing basketball during the week and it was giving him grief.  

This was my chance to bless. I shuffled over to him, put my hand on his shoulder, and blessed him using words similar but perhaps less eloquent than these. “Matt I bless you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I bless you with freedom of movement in your knee. I bless you with pain-free movement in your knee. I bless your tendons and ligaments and the supporting tissues and every part of your knee to live in the fullness of how God intended. I bless you not because I have power, but because of the power in me through what Jesus did on the cross”. 

Perhaps 45 seconds or a minute later, Matt pipes up and says,”Woah, my knee isn’t sore.” He moves it around, jumps to his feet, runs around on the spot, and is amazed. “It’s perfect, there’s nothing wrong with it!”. The rest of the folks over at the time soon heard about it and we’re all pretty excited. 

I was pretty thankful. What an amazing testament to the power of God. A power that lives in us. A God that is living and active. When youth get to see the power and relevance of God like that, it gets me jazzed up.”
