Christ Touched Him — And Everything Changed

A healing miracle - to Jesus Christ be all the honour and glory.

After leading an Auckland man to the Lord a few days ago, and baptising him in a child’s swimming pool, this testimony arrived today:
“I  want to share something remarkable that’s happened since meeting you the other day.
I’ve had constant solar plexus and epigastric discomfort since an incident at 24. For 22 years it’s been a battle, and I’ve tried everything: countless doctors and specialists; gastroscopies, ultrasounds, CT scans, MRI, manometry, barium swallow, a 24-hour pH study; medications; acupuncture, tapping, colour therapy, healers, dry needling, chiropractors, osteopaths - even a woman in Parnell who rolled magnets down my back. I tried yoga, Pilates, meditation, fitness, prayer, excessive drinking, quitting drinking, Ashrams, elimination diets, excessive eating - nothing ever touched it.

It always felt like something was “inside out” at the base of my esophagus, like an air bubble jammed there throwing everything off. When it was bad, I’d get terrible neck pain and my arms and hands would go weak and shaky. I’d sleep nine hours and wake up worse. Every day was a slog, work was hard, and I avoided life because I was constantly uncomfortable. With nothing making a difference, I assumed I’d caused permanent structural or nerve damage.

About a year ago I gave up looking for answers - too discouraging and too expensive. That’s why I didn’t mention it the other day.

But a few days after meeting you, something incredible happened. Lying in bed and breathing into the area (as I’ve done for years), something suddenly began to release and unwind - that deep itch I’ve been trying to scratch for decades. It was like a twisted plastic straw slowly unwinding back to normal. My chest, solar plexus, and throat opened like a concertina and everything fell back into alignment. I could breathe and swallow properly; my neck and jaw eased; strength returned to my arms and hands.

Just like that, it was gone. Not eased - gone. Twenty years of discomfort gone in minutes. I can't believe it. It's been such a daily battle and it felt so permanent. I’ve had the best couple of days feeling normal and just breathing properly.

The timing with your visit is impossible to ignore. I truly believe God, through you, released whatever was stuck and let everything fall back into place.
