Blessing from hurt

“Thank you so much for the book " The Blessing Effect" It is so simple and so down to earth, nothing complicated or hard, just so simple yet very profound. After years walking with God, one can tend to forget about the simplicity of God.

My prayer this morning has been so relational. I've asked God to bless those who have abused me and spitefully used me, I've asked him to bless a young pastor who has done a lot of damage to my husband and our whanau, and many others. I have forgiven him but by asking God to bless him and his wife this morning, I feel a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders. This book by Richard Brunton has blessed me immensely. 

I've asked God to BLESS those of my whanau who are on drugs, our eldest daughter who is a chronic alcoholic, and is in rehab, grandchildren hurt by youth leaders in the church, never wanting to have anything to do with the church now and many others in my whanau.”
