Man blesses adopted son

I’ve read the ‘Awesome Power of Blessing’. I have since often blessed people, in the name of Jesus Christ,  instead of praying for them in the usual fashion.

On Wednesday last week I sent the following blessing to our ‘adopted’ son, Dominik who reached Greece in 2016 from the DR Congo where his father, a journalist was shot dead in front of him and his sister in their home in Kinshasa.

‘I bless you Dominik in Jesus name with a suitable affordable apartment in Thessaloniki and for excellent learning of Greek and English and enjoyment of your learning and accomplishments with our God’s help. Amen‘

Dominik was granted Asylum in Greece nearly 6 months ago. He had suffered torture and terrible suffering. Mt wife Joan and I have had the honour of paying for two surgical procedures for him and for a lawyer he engaged to help him prove his story in order to be granted Asylum.

Since being granted Asylum he had 6 months to prepare to go out and support himself.  He has been trying all that time to find a place to live. Hence the blessing I sent him last week.

Today, 4 days after I sent him the blessing and 6 months after he’d started look for his own place to live he today wrote saying. God has answered your blessing. I have a lovely place to live. The landlord reduced the rent from €200 per month to €180 per month which really was the maximum he could afford.

Other blessings have resulted in success too but the outcome of this one was so quick in coming after a long period during which he’d had no success at all because some landlords didn’t want a refugee or an African as a tenant and there were so few anywhere near as low as he could afford.
