Week 14: Blessing His Father Back to Life
Share
He never expected the book he printed for others to change his own life.
It all began in 2018, when he took on a job printing copies of *The Awesome Power of Blessing*. At the time, he didn’t give much thought to its message — it was just ink and paper.
But in 2020, during the quiet days of lockdown, he picked up a copy and began to read.
The words struck him deeply. They spoke of blessing instead of bitterness, of Jesus instead of religion, of life instead of despair.
In 2021, he and his wife made a courageous decision: they chose to follow Jesus.
It cost them everything.
Their family rejected them. They were cut off from the family business and left to start again from scratch. But they clung to their new faith, and God began to rebuild their lives.
Then came the hardest test of all.
His father suffered a major stroke. Once strong and self-reliant, his father was suddenly unable to walk or eat. It broke his heart to see him like that.
Every day he visited. Every day he cried. But every day, he also spoke blessing.
He laid his hands on his father’s body and whispered,
“In the name of Jesus, I bless you with healing. I bless you with strength. I bless you with life.”
There was no change at first. But he didn’t give up. He kept blessing. Kept believing. Kept loving.
And then, it happened.
His father stood up. His hands reached for food. The healing was real.
Then came words he never expected to hear:
“I want to follow Jesus. I want to be baptized.”
Tears flowed. Not tears of pain this time — but joy. Healing had touched not just his father’s body, but his heart.
It all began with a blessing.
