Week 25 - A Father’s Heart in the Philippines
Share
Last night, at the close of the meetings in the Philippines, something unforgettable happened.
Pastor Joe’s wife gently urged him, « Why don’t you give the Father’s blessing?” She pointed to two beautiful teenage girls. Both of them had been born into heartbreaking circumstances — their mothers were prostitutes, and they had grown up without fathers.
He stepped forward, carrying the Father’s heart of God. One by one, he spoke the Father’s blessing over them.
As the words of blessing came, the power of Jesus’ love entered them. It was like heaven itself touched their wounded hearts. Each girl broke down in tears. They forgave. They received. And then, one by one, they wrapped their arms around him in a healing embrace.
The love of the Father was no longer an idea to them. It was real. It was personal. It was theirs.
That night, the Father’s blessing changed everything.
“God sets the lonely in families.”
