Week 33: From Hatred to Peace
Share
For years she carried a deep wound.
Her husband and his second wife had caused her great pain — the kind that settles in the heart like a stone.
She went to church, but the hurt lived inside her.
Sometimes, she felt anger so strong it frightened her.
She said:
“There were moments I wanted to see them destroyed… even buried.
But the Holy Spirit whispered, ‘My daughter, how can you pray and still hold such thoughts?’”
Then one day, during a meeting, the pastor spoke on blessing your enemies — blessing those who hurt you.
Inside, she resisted.
Everything in her heart said No.
But the pastor continued:
“This is the great test of the Christian life.”
That night, when she returned home, something happened.
She entered her room.
The Lord spoke to her:
“If you do this, I will fill you with My peace.”
She broke.
She wept before God — long, painful tears poured out.
And after more than fifteen minutes, something shifted.
She forgave them.
She blessed them.
And in time… she even began to love them.
Later she said:
“Thank you, Pastor, for coming to Togo.
I feel as if you came especially for me.”
After hearing her testimony, Ps Sammy spoke a Father’s blessing over her —
and the peace of God filled her heart like a gentle river.
Hatred left.
Peace entered.
Love began to grow.
This is the quiet miracle of blessing —
breaking chains the world cannot see,
and restoring the heart from the inside out.
All glory to Jesus, the One who heals the wounds no one else can reach.
