Week 37: She Blessed Her Body — and the Pain Left
Share
n Pakistan, a 52-year-old woman named Asyia had been living with constant pain.
For two years, she suffered from sciatica, a condition that affected her movement and daily life. The pain was severe and persistent. She struggled to walk properly. She tried many medicines and followed different exercises, yet nothing brought relief.
Over time, discouragement set in.
Then one day, Asyia came to a prayer fellowship. She asked simply for prayer — prayer for healing, prayer for freedom from the pain that had become part of her life.
Together with the prayer team, healing blessing was spoken over her. She was also given a copy of The Awesome Power of Blessing in Urdu, her heart language.
She took the book home and began to read it carefully.
As she read, she understood something new: blessing was not only something others could speak over her — she could bless her own body. So she began to do exactly that. Day after day, throughout the week, she spoke blessing over herself, just as the book described.
When Asyia returned to the next prayer fellowship, her face told the story before her words did.
She testified with joy that the sciatica pain was gone. The pain that had controlled her life for two years was no longer present. She could move freely again. She was filled with gratitude and excitement at what God had done.
Again and again, she said how thankful she was — thankful to God, and thankful that the blessing book was available to her in Urdu, a language she could fully understand and apply.
What changed everything was not striving, nor fear, nor endless treatments — but a simple decision to align her words with God’s life.
A body blessed.
A pain gone.
And a heart full of praise.
