Week 45: Healed… Flourishing… Overflowing With Excitement

At first, the illness seemed familiar. The family wondered if it might be typhoid or malaria — illnesses they understood. But their hearts sank when doctors confirmed the real diagnosis: cancer.

Living in India, she and her husband were forced to travel far from home to a large city hospital for treatment, leaving behind their son and daughter who were still in high school.

The separation was painful, yet necessary if she was to receive the care she needed.

Chemotherapy was recommended. The treatment drained her strength, and the financial burden weighed heavily on the family. With each passing day, fear tried to take hold.

When relatives heard the news, they came to visit. They prayed with her, spoke blessings over her life, and placed a copy of The Awesome Power of Blessing into her hands. From that very day, she began reading it — and speaking blessing over her body every day, just as she had been encouraged to do. Later, family members joined online, praying and blessing her together.

Something began to change.

Strength returned. Hope grew. Peace replaced fear.

Today — praise God — she is completely healed. Back home with her family, she now joyfully serves the Lord by sharing her testimony across India, giving the blessing message to many people she meets along the way.

Then, just a few days ago, she shared another moment that made her laugh with delight. A curry plant on her balcony had almost completely dried up. Remembering what she had learned, she spoke blessing over the plant in the name of Jesus.

To her amazement, new shoots appeared. The plant that once seemed lifeless is now flourishing again with fresh green leaves.

Her story reminds us that when blessing is spoken in faith, life begins to flow — into bodies, into hearts, and even into the ordinary things around us.

God is still restoring.

God is still healing.

And wherever blessing is spoken, life begins again.
