Week 54: A daughter blessed back to health
Share
In November 2025, during a blessing conference in East Africa, a Methodist pastor attended with a questioning heart.
“Shalom people of God,” he later wrote.
“I am Pastor G... from Kiyange.”
He had listened carefully to the teaching on the power of blessing—how speaking words of life over a body or a situation could bring change.
But he was not fully convinced.
“I followed your teaching and listened to the testimonies of miracles,” he explained,
“but I did not agree with many of the points.”
Yet something deeply personal challenged his doubts.
His eight-year-old daughter had been suffering with ongoing health problems.
“As a father, I was watching her suffer,” he shared.
Faced with this, he made a decision.
“Because of the condition of my daughter, I decided to apply what you taught—by blessing her body.”
Day after day, he spoke blessing.
He continued for 23 days.
Then something remarkable happened.
“To my great surprise,” he said,
“I saw my daughter recover her health.”
What had once seemed doubtful now became undeniable.
“And I continue,” he added.
“It is truly a mystery, just as you told us.”
Not only had his daughter been healed—his own heart had changed.
The skepticism was gone.
In its place came humility, faith, and gratitude.
“I now ask everyone to try and practice blessing over every sickness and every difficult situation,” he urged.
“Thank you for coming with your team to bring this message to us.”
What began with doubt
ended in faith.
What began with hesitation
ended in testimony.
And a father who once questioned
now speaks with conviction.
