Week 7: They Simply Can’t Find It

Pastor Craig had prayed for many people. He had seen God move in power — miracles, signs, healings. But now, it was personal.

A scan, meant to investigate a pain in his groin, had unexpectedly revealed a 6cm mass on his adrenal gland. The specialists didn’t mince words: anything over 4cm must be removed, whether cancerous or not. And there was a real chance it was cancer.

Craig and his wife responded with quiet but determined faith. “Thank you,” she said to the specialist, “but we do not accept that.” And Craig agreed. But deep down, the valley was real. Even as a man of strong faith, this was a giant staring him in the face.

Then one morning, sitting down with his Bible, Craig noticed a little book on the coffee table: The Awesome Power of Blessing. He read just a short section on speaking blessing over the body — and something clicked.

He began blessing his adrenal gland — daily. He learned its function, how it affected his body, and he spoke blessing not just over the gland itself but over the hormones it produced. He was deliberate, faith-filled, and consistent.

It was a journey. Not a sudden healing. There were ups and downs, anxious tests and slow-moving appointments. But Craig kept blessing, declaring life and divine order over his body.

Finally, came the follow-up appointment at the hospital. The waiting room was full. They even let someone go ahead of them who had another appointment to get to. Eventually, Craig and his wife were called in.

The specialist sat down and looked up.

“Well, I only have good news for you,” she said. “I’m so sorry for wasting your time. All the scans and reports have come back… and they simply can’t find it!”

Gone. The 6cm mass — completely disappeared.

Craig and his wife shared their faith in a miracle-working God, the One who hears and answers. And since that day, Craig has shared his story widely, praying for others — and watching them get healed too.

The power of blessing is real. It’s not a ritual — it’s a release of heaven’s authority into our physical reality.

Reflection:

What giant are you facing? What part of your body is crying out for wholeness? Begin today. Speak blessing. Stand your ground. And believe.
