Father's Blessing and What that Meant
I am the Chinese girl who sat next to you in the conference and you blessed me as a spiritual father.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the blessing you said over to me. Before the conference I prayed for 3 things - one of them was to let my father say sorry to me as he did very bad things to me which is not what a father should do to a daughter.
And God is so amazing he let you sit next to me and say sorry to me on behalf of my father. That's why I cried so much because I just felt God is so real and he answered my prayers in such an amazing way.
I am about to finish reading your booklet and already can't wait to share the concept of the blessings to my friends.
I would like to have more booklets to send to friends and bless them.

The Awesome Power of Blessing - a Mother’s Blessing
Hello again Richard. I think it was Tuesday when I told you that my women's group was studying your Blessing book. Yesterday we reached the Father's Blessing. My mother was a "good Christian women" but she was determined not to spoil her only child! There were 12 of us present yesterday, and we decided that we would read out loud the Father's blessing as a Mother's blessing. My tears came, deep and fast, and a lovely "motherly-shaped" sister enfolded me, and now I think that all the mother stuff that I've been trying to work through has truly been healed. It was the first two paragraphs that were the key for me. Thank you.

Healing Often Goes with Blessing (04/12/2019)
Last night I had the privilege and joy of speaking a father’s blessing over a young woman.
During the blessing she suddenly proclaimed, startled, "I can hear!"
I wasn’t aware of it but she was deaf in one ear and it had suddenly opened. God is so good and He wanted to show this woman that He loved her and knew her intimately.
It reminds me of a time earlier this year when I blessed a woman in a market in Nandi. After I blessed her I asked her if she had pain in her body. She replied that she did have when I started the blessing but that it was all gone.
And then there was the father in Kenya who blessed his daughter and from that time on she had no more migraines.
A young businessman whom I blessed with father’s blessing in a cafe had continual stomach problems that disappeared from that moment on.
When we bless in Jesus name we release the Kingdom of God in that person's life and circumstances - and there is healing in the Kingdom.
God waits to lunge out in love and power if we will only release His love and power with our mouths.

Father's Blessing and How Much it Meant
Hi.... I was given your little booklet. Interesting that something so small, can pack such a punch. Thank you for sharing your blessing with others. I read the Fathers Blessing. I cried and cried. I took it for myself, from God. My father has passed, and in later life may have said something like that to me, but certainly not earlier. Released
I spoke and read out of the book the "Fathers Blessing". I could hardly get it out - I just cried and cried and felt the Lord was healing me. My own father had only ever cursed me and spoken negatively over me until he died. I somehow felt released.

Blessing Your Family Changes Things
On Friday, we met a man, Neil, who attended the Auckland Believe event. He had been incredibly impacted by your message and reading your blessing book has completely changed his thinking.
He said as a result of attending PK Auckland, he has realised that God has called him to be a leader in his home. Through your messages Richard, he’s recognising his God given authority to pray and to bless. His family are not Christians, so instead of talking about his views, he is now blessing his wife, his three sons, even the dining table.
He said at the dinner table there used to be loud negative talk but in just a week of blessing his family, he is seeing change, where the conversations are not as negative now.

I thought I would let you know how the weekend went with showing the videos on imparting a blessing and the father's blessing at our men's camp.
The guys really enjoyed it all and got heaps out of it. At the end, every single one of them stood to receive the father's blessing and then started blessing others and continued to do that for the rest of our time together. Some of them wanted to borrow the DVD so they could watch it again and most of them said they were going to get a copy of the book at church. One guy, who isn't a follower of Jesus, was so taken with it that he wants a book as well and we are sure we will also see him along at church soon.

My friend had deep seated father issues due to the way he had treated her as a child to the extent that she was completely fearful of men and would always withdraw when men were around her. If there was a conflict situation where voices were raised she would become very fearful and basically sought to avoid those situations and would leave as soon as it was physically possible to do so.
You prayed the Father's Blessing at the end of the meeting and afterwards she went up for prayer. You then prayed individually for her and God turned up in such a powerful way that all her fear went and she has become a totally different person. She has never felt such liberty in her life. Her countenance has completely changed and there is a lightness in her appearance which was not there before.

<strong>God said, "You don’t want my blessing... too bad...I’m going to give it to you anyway."</strong>
I want to let you know how your ministry impacted me when you last spoke at my church. It’s a while ago now but I have always regretted that I was not able to at least say thanks after the service, so here I am, thought I’d just let you know what happened to me that day as you spoke and the great blessing that I received.
I’ll start with the back story. I was in my mid-twenties when I started to wake at night and have these horrible episodes where my heart would begin to race for no reason and something beneath my chest would churn like a ball, my face and limbs would go numb and tingly, then I would start to shake through. Each time it happened I thought I was dying, or about to die. I was hospitalised twice after several tests. Even though they saw something was clearly wrong, they didn’t know what it was or how to fix it and so they sent me home to see how it would develop. Needless to say, the episodes kept happening.
That day at the church, I must admit I was skeptical of what you were saying about blessings. I was put well out of my comfort zone when you asked us to bless the person behind, and then when you asked us to raise our hands to receive the ’Father’s Blessing,’ I might have squirmed. But I did it anyway – everyone else was, so I raised my arms for the first time in church.
I think you were about one sentence into the Father’s Blessing when I felt something begin to happen. Firstly there was an emotional response that came out of nowhere, my eyes started welling up. I did not like the fact that I could not stop crying, I tried to of course, telling myself to stop being such a sook, but could not. At this point an anxiety attack came out of nowhere, strong as i’d ever felt it and too sudden, and this had never happened. I had never experienced one during the day, always only at night. And I was thinking to myself, ‘Oh no. This is not good.’ I was really scared and hoping you would stop talking so it would go away.’ But just then, I felt something very palpable, something very ‘wave-like’ hit me and moved right through me from front to back. That churning ball of whatever it was inside dissolved instantly – gone without a trace. In fact, the scary thing is that it flared up almost as if it knew what was about to happen and sought to resist, but was destroyed anyway, and with such ease by this force.
I was left standing there stunned and largely bewildered. I turned to the lady standing behind me at the close of the service (The one who blessed me) and said, ‘Did you feel that?’
She said, ‘Yeah, that was great, I really needed to hear that right now.’ And I said, ‘No, but did you feel it?’
She smiled and asked what happened. I told her what I experienced, that it felt like something passed through me and did something. I still wasn’t sure what at that point. I know now that it was the Spirit of God healing me because I have not had one of those attacks since that day. They stopped overnight. And that was over a year ago.
So, I just want to say a big thank you. Because of your ministry, courage and faith I was healed. I am clearly a believer in blessings now. 😊 I often wonder why God would have done what he did for me that day, given my poor attitude. I was the least deserving person in the entire congregation. But it was like God said, "You don’t want my blessing... too bad...I’m going to give it to you anyway. Here it is."

<strong>31/08/2021 - Message from Richard:</strong>
I was reflecting on the fact that thousands of people have received healing simply by blessing their body or body-part in the name of Jesus.
Why does it work? How does it work?
Some healings come by blessing and people releasing the ones who have hurt them (this is a significant extra step over and above merely forgiving them). Other healings by receiving a parent’s blessing (especially the father’s blessing). The resultant healing of the wounds of the heart can often lead to physical healing; sickness on the inside often manifests on the outside.
What about straight out physical healing.
I think I can identify a number of elements:
• Thankfulness for our bodies, declaring that they are wonderfully and fearfully made. Expressed verbally, out loud. We need to listen to what we say; faith comes from hearing. Love starts to come too.
• Repent for complaining about our health problems, if that is the case. Complaining locks the condition in, whereas thanksgiving attracts God’s power.
• Let His love flow through you. Love is the carrier wave of God’s power. Remember that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is within you if you are a Spirit-filled Christian.
• Bless the body part, in the name of Jesus, in love and the quiet assurance of your authority to do so. Speaking blessing in love and faith activates the power of God.
• Speak and release healing, strength, restoration, normal function
• Thank God.
The results might be immediate, overnight, or may take days, weeks or even months, but keep blessing until the healing comes.
There is still mystery around healing. I’m not pretending to have all the answers. But the above summarises what I have learned so far regarding the power of blessing. I hope it helps someone.

<strong>Prostate gland</strong>
Richard, I’ve been waiting for my medical check up today so I can reply you.
My doctor is very happy (and I too) for the results of my prostate gland which was a source of worry for him. Results have revealed that it’s size is normal for my age and there shouldn’t be any cause for alarm. I will be honest with you Richard I can’t remember when I last had a backache ever since you pronounced the blessing of health over my back and prostate on 13th April 2021.
You first blessed me and pronounced healing on my back in February and the backache began to slow down but when you spoke a blessing the second time in April I have been totally healed. The doctor has confirmed that I am well and I give praise, honour and thankfulness to our Lord.

<strong>A doctor who speaks a blessing for his patients</strong>
Your message on blessing has taken my prayers for other people to another level.
My name is D..., and I am a GP in the South Island ....Your teaching on blessing has equipped me further when I pray for others and I have found that people are more open to blessings than prayers and I have found quicker results with blessings also.
One of my patients was an atheist and suffered from chronic pain and fatigue. He has been to various specialists and tried many different things without improvement. One day he was very frustrated and said, “I have tried everything and nothing has worked.”
I replied, “You haven’t tried blessing yet. Can I give you a blessing at the end of consultation?"
He agreed and I blessed him. After seeing him a few more times and a few blessings, I didn’t see any visible change. I was a little bit discouraged and that day was very busy and I was running behind, with few patients waiting, so I didn’t bless him. On his next appointment, towards the end of the consultation I was having a spiritual battle in my mind about whether I should offer him the blessing or not, fearing he might say no and say the blessing didn’t work. While I was struggling on the inside, he said to me, “D...., do you have time to give me a blessing today because you forgot last time and I felt the difference.”
Immediately I repented to God of my little faith and replied “Of course, always time for a blessing.”
After that, I asked God, "How can I bring him closer to You?" God spoke to me by a strong impression to my heart, “Pray for him in the Spirit.”
So I explained to him, “Can I bless you slightly differently today? I will bless you first then ask the Holy Spirit to bless you after that.” He agreed and I blessed him. About two minutes later I asked him “What happened?”

I immediately gave the glory to God and said to him that it’s not from me but from God. God loves him just as He loves me and God wants him to know Him just as I did.
The next time I blessed him in the same way and he was touched by the Holy Spirit again and couldn’t speak for a few minutes. He later told me. “I think I saw an image. I think I saw Jesus.”
I was like “Wow!” (but you were an atheist)!
Over time I noticed the change, every conversation we had, little obstacles like doubts, lies, misconceptions, slowly got tossed away and he has a new desire to know more about Christianity. He is no longer an atheist – he believes in God but still not sure who Jesus is.
Another amazing thing is that he often walked into my consultation stiff and in pain but after the blessing, he was able to move much more freely, touching the ground with his fingers and often without pain. He told me, “This feels so good and I wish it could stay longer.”
I encouraged him, “It could, just draw close of God and pray to Him and ask to experience Him.”
Initially I wanted God to heal him straight away and see radical conversion but now I know that God knows everyone’s heart and where they are at. God allows me to see him every month to share love and truth and deal with his questions and misconceptions and draw him near to Him.
All glory and praise to God our Father and Christ our Saviour and Holy Spirit our Counsellor and Helper.

Ps John Israel in Tanzania thought to turn The Awesome Power of Blessing into an audio book in Swahili and made 2,600 SD cards, the idea being to reach people in remote villages who couldn’t read. There was a man nearly blind for twenty years - he’s the big man in the jacket in the photo below. After listening to the audio book (the green gadget in the second pic) he can now see clearly. Hugs, great excitement. The village shocked. You can imagine.
2000 years later the same risen Christ is still doing mighty miracles. Blessing, in the name of the Lord, is one very practical way of releasing His love and power, which is open to every believer. Praise the Lord.

We had very blessed and powerful blessing seminars in villages and we've got a lot of testimonies I want to share with you.
For a long time many peoples have bone pains but after the blessing prayer they received healing. One man in particular had knee pain for 8 years, after just 10 minutes it was very hard for him to walk. After blessing prayer he received complete healing and every day he is running 5 KM - now he is very strong man. Praise the Lord God completely healed him.
Few days ago we organized blessing seminar in Catholic churches and during the blessing seminars a lot of peoples received the Holy Spirit and they speaking in tongues in Catholic churches! Hallelujah Praise the Lord.

<strong>She said, "All the scans and reports have come back, and they simply cannot find it!”</strong>
Last year I went for a ultra-sound scan for a pain in my groin/testicle. The specialist could find nothing wrong and had a thought to check my kidneys. On doing this she saw a large mass on my adrenal gland. I was then called in by my doctor and sent to a specialist at North Shore Hospital. The specialist said there was a chance it could be cancer - in all situations with any mass over 4cm the doctors want to operate and remove it regardless if it is cancer or not. In my case the mass measured 6cm. As an itinerant pastor and a man of faith I have had the privilege of seeing incredible signs and wonders of the Lord's power in amazing ways but it is somehow different when it is me in that place facing a personal giant.
It was then that I came across a little book called, "The Awesome Power of Blessing" by Richard Brunton. As I remember, I opened it and read just a small section about the power of blessing. My first thought was, "This will do." I started blessing my adrenal gland and researched its function. I continued to bless my adrenal gland every morning as well as the hormones it released and what it was meant to be doing in my body.
Month by month, test by test, the journey continued. Believe you me when I say I had some ups and downs on this road. We finally had the follow-up appointment to meet the specialist at North Shore hospital again. I remember the morning well because we had to wait for ages as the doctor was running very late. In fact, we allowed a man to go in front of us as he had another appointment he was about to miss. Then it was my turn, the doctor invited us into her room and said, " Well, I only have good news for you”! She sat down, read her notes and continued, “I am so sorry for wasting your time, all the scans and reports have come back, and they simply cannot find it!”
We shared with the doctor our faith and belief in a God who can do miracles like this.

Last night I had the privilege and joy of speaking a father’s blessing over a young woman.
During the blessing she suddenly proclaimed, startled, "I can hear!"
I wasn’t aware of it but she was deaf in one ear and it had suddenly opened. God is so good and He wanted to show this woman that He loved her and knew her intimately.
It reminds me of a time earlier this year when I blessed a woman in a market in Nandi. After I blessed her I asked her if she had pain in her body. She replied that she did have when I started the blessing but that it was all gone.
And then there was the father in Kenya who blessed his daughter and from that time on she had no more migraines.
A young businessman whom I blessed with father’s blessing in a cafe had continual stomach problems that disappeared from that moment on.
When we bless in Jesus name we release the Kingdom of God in that person's life and circumstances - and there is healing in the Kingdom.
God waits to lunge out in love and power if we will only release His love and power with our mouths.

<strong>This Book Gets Around - Woman Healed</strong>
I have an epic story to share with you: I posted one of your books to my sister who lives in Upper Hutt. She read it and gave it to her neighbour.
Her neighbour asked where she could get more so she could distribute them. So, I ordered a box of books through you in March.
The neighbour's name is Karen and I have never met her.
In the first week of September 2018, my sister phoned me to tell me this story.
After Karen received your books she started distributing them. She first went to a local church morning-tea meeting where members of the community are invited along. She gave the leader of the morning-tea group 5 copies.
This lady then gave one of her 5 copies to an elderly man who had just lost his wife. He read it, was impacted by your little book and sent it to his son and daughter-in-law who live in Palmerston North.
They read it, were impacted by it and gave it to a Christian lady at their church who had a terminal illness.
She read it and applied it to every area of her life. She went back to the doctor and is totally healed!!! Jesus!!!

<strong>Confidence Growing: Learning to Bless and Pray for Healing</strong>
Hi Richard,
It was wonderful and unexpected to be able to talk to you along with my daughter about a month ago.
After reading your book my daughter and myself were really galvanised into action. We have prayed for people, blessed them to health and encouraged them by giving them a copy of your book to bless their prayer life as well. Each time my daughter managed to pick up the book and read a chapter, someone came into her life who she would have to give the book to. We gave out the first 20 copies to bless others within a month. I had to carry them in my handbag as she was approached by her friends with issues and she would pray for them and give out the book. She encouraged them to bless every situation they were going into. Her friends are reporting back great success.
16th December 2018 The first healing I was involved in after reading your book was at church where a person had a herniated disk. You could actually feel the jelly out of alignment in the spine. The person was bent over and in great pain. The anti-inflammatory that had been taken in the morning had worn off and the person was desperate for healing or more pills. I noticed they were being prayed for and moved to assist . I used what I had learnt in the book about praying for healing and I asked the Holy Spirit for guidance in how to pray. This was the first time I had stepped out in church for a long time to pray for healing, hands on. The Holy Spirit encouraged me to pray for the spine to come into alignment and for every sinew, atom of their being, blood vessel and ligament to be blessed in the name of the Father, Jesus Christ His Son and the Holy Spirit. I blessed all the work of their hands, their going out and their coming in, their ministry for the Lord and every other blessing that came to mind during the prayer. During the time I prayed, I felt the really strong heat in my right hand over the spine. The person could not feel the heat when I told them what I was sensing. But I felt reassured that the blessing was working.
Two weeks later the person came and told me they had been healed that Sunday and that they were really grateful for the healing. They had felt no immediate improvement or the heat I had felt during the prayer. But in just 4 hours they realised they had been completely healed and were pain free, and have not taken any medication since. I was praising God that I had stepped out in faith and blessed them back to health. I constantly use the phrase “in the name of Father, Jesus Christ His Son the the Holy Spirit” to reinforce to the person I am praying for that it is not me. I am only stepping out in faith for them.
The second healing I have had is for myself. I blessed my own skin as I have had for at least 4 years three lesions on my back that were ugly but not cancerous and the doctor would not remove them. I blessed my skin back to health for several nights and checked the following night to see if they were gone. I was expecting them to disappear. I could not reach them myself to scratch them off to see if they would come off and my husband refused to do anything to them either. They appeared to be growing in size height-wise, and looked worse to me. My daughter was putting sunscreen on my back and she said to me, "I feel like I want to scratch at these growths on your back is that okay?" I told her to go ahead and although she has very short fingernails the first one just popped off in her hand. She went ahead and removed the other two as well. The wonderful thing for me is there is no scarring from them and I no longer have to see them in a place I cannot reach.
My daughter and son-in-law prayed the blessing of the Father over their children the other night and one of the boys just sobbed the whole way through, I believe the prayer will be a turning point for his life.

It was wonderful and unexpected to be able to talk to you along with my daughter about a month ago.
After reading your book my daughter and myself were really galvanised into action. We have prayed for people, blessed them to health and encouraged them by giving them a copy of your book to bless their prayer life as well. Each time my daughter managed to pick up the book and read a chapter, someone came into her life who she would have to give the book to. We gave out the first 20 copies to bless others within a month. I had to carry them in my handbag as she was approached by her friends with issues and she would pray for them and give out the book. She encouraged them to bless every situation they were going into. Her friends are reporting back great success.
16th December 2018 The first healing I was involved in after reading your book was at church where a person had a herniated disk. You could actually feel the jelly out of alignment in the spine. The person was bent over and in great pain. The anti-inflammatory that had been taken in the morning had worn off and the person was desperate for healing or more pills. I noticed they were being prayed for and moved to assist . I used what I had learnt in the book about praying for healing and I asked the Holy Spirit for guidance in how to pray. This was the first time I had stepped out in church for a long time to pray for healing, hands on. The Holy Spirit encouraged me to pray for the spine to come into alignment and for every sinew, atom of their being, blood vessel and ligament to be blessed in the name of the Father, Jesus Christ His Son and the Holy Spirit. I blessed all the work of their hands, their going out and their coming in, their ministry for the Lord and every other blessing that came to mind during the prayer. During the time I prayed, I felt the really strong heat in my right hand over the spine. The person could not feel the heat when I told them what I was sensing. But I felt reassured that the blessing was working.
Two weeks later the person came and told me they had been healed that Sunday and that they were really grateful for the healing. They had felt no immediate improvement or the heat I had felt during the prayer. But in just 4 hours they realised they had been completely healed and were pain free, and have not taken any medication since. I was praising God that I had stepped out in faith and blessed them back to health. I constantly use the phrase “in the name of Father, Jesus Christ His Son the the Holy Spirit” to reinforce to the person I am praying for that it is not me. I am only stepping out in faith for them.
The second healing I have had is for myself. I blessed my own skin as I have had for at least 4 years three lesions on my back that were ugly but not cancerous and the doctor would not remove them. I blessed my skin back to health for several nights and checked the following night to see if they were gone. I was expecting them to disappear. I could not reach them myself to scratch them off to see if they would come off and my husband refused to do anything to them either. They appeared to be growing in size height-wise, and looked worse to me. My daughter was putting sunscreen on my back and she said to me, "I feel like I want to scratch at these growths on your back is that okay?" I told her to go ahead and although she has very short fingernails the first one just popped off in her hand. She went ahead and removed the other two as well. The wonderful thing for me is there is no scarring from them and I no longer have to see them in a place I cannot reach.
My daughter and son-in-law prayed the blessing of the Father over their children the other night and one of the boys just sobbed the whole way through, I believe the prayer will be a turning point for his life.
Richard I want to bless you in everything you put your hand to, thank you for your little book, I think the best thing about your book is it is condensed and easy to understand and apply; anyone can read it and be encouraged.

<strong>Wound Healed Over Three Days</strong>
I am going to share a snapshot of what happened after I read Richard Brunton’s book "The Awesome Power of Blessing"
I have now been under specialist care for 20 years, so I was really drawn to the part about blessing our bodies. I immediately launched into praying a blessing on various parts of my body, and felt a marked improvement. I have a specialist visit every six months and he has been amazed at my progress. In his career as an endocrinologist he has seen only 2 people make it to the level of healing I have achieved.
At the height of my feel-good mode, I decided to do some much needed gardening, and it was there I became slightly "undone”. I snagged my thumb and a huge part of my nail came away. I quickly exited the garden and showered. By now my thumb was raw and angry. I placed it into my other hand and thanked it for functioning so well up until now. God reminded me of what this small unassuming part of my body had done – it had cared for people, baked for charities, planted trees, played instruments and sports. Then like a wellspring, I uttered “Thumb may you be blessed in your God-given capability to heal; may this pain dull and infection leave. May my good hand become that of Christ. I then felt an intense heat from my good hand flood the wounded one, and even a slight pulse, which frightened me and I let go and thought "Whoa, what was that???" Then I felt God say, “Would you just trust me?”
I did, I prayed on the next day, then the third day I took a look at it and it was healed, so thank you Richard for the true gift in your book. It has been such a privilege to meet you in person, I have carried your book through many hospital visits and it continues to be a source of great encouragement.

<strong>Prayed for Freedom from Nicotene Addiction</strong>
I would like to give you a personal family testimony that took place last November 2016, on the power of blessing from your book.
Our son ( a pre-Christian) has been smoking for 10+years, a huge cost to the family and he keeps saying he wants to quit. After reading your book I started blessing him with freedom from nicotene addiction. After a few weeks he was going through a bit of financial stress and he phoned me to say he really wanted to stop smoking, especially as now his two children were 'at him' to quit. I prayed with him over the phone that God would give him the strength and willpower to stop, then blessed him with the freedom from nicotine addiction!!
Anyway, a few days later he phoned again to say he had stopped smoking that night and hadn’t wanted a cigarette since. Amen, thank you Lord.

<strong>Situations Changed Simply by Blessing</strong>
Could I possibly order a further 40 of your books? They have been so popular and there are still many people I would like to give them to.
I have had so many great testimonies from the people I have given the books to! Some of the people I know well have shared with me how they have been released from bitterness towards others, as they have started to bless them and the situations.
Also I thought you may like to know, that several home groups in ….. are now studying your book and working through it each week, which they are really enjoying. I have already had two meetings where I was invited to speak, and where I was able to share about the Power of Blessing and after gave each person a copy of your book.
It has been so amazing and I so appreciate your wonderful teaching in the book, it is very powerful. When I received the first copy of your book and read it, I began speaking blessing over my daughter who had a terrible skin condition, and since that time, her skin has been amazing!

In fact, during a trip to hospital this week, I had a full blood count, and both the neutrophils [type of white blood cell that helps heal damaged tissue] and WBC [white blood cell count] were 3 times the previous levels.

<strong>Large Mass on Adrenal Gland Gone</strong>
Richard attached is my personal testimony for you to read and share as you feel led. May it release even more encouragement, favour and understanding to this amazing gift the Lord has put in our hands 'the power of blessing'. May it be a launching place for a stream of miracles even more incredible than mine. Thank you Richard for being a forward runner and being obedient to write this simple book which has changed my life forever.
Last year I went for a ultra-sound scan for a pain in my groan/testicle. The specialist could not find anything wrong but had a thought to check my kidneys. On doing this she saw a large mass on my adrenal gland. I was then called in by my doctor and sent to a specialist at North Shore Hospital. The specialist said there was a chance it could be cancer. In situations with any mass over 4cm it is compulsory to operate and remove it, regardless if it is cancer or not. In my case the mass measured 6cm. My wife said thank you but we do not accept that and I agreed.
As a man devoted to prayer, an itinerant pastor and a man of faith. I have had the wonderful privilege of seeing incredible signs and wonders of the Lord's power in amazing ways. But it is somehow different when it is me in that place or valley of despair, facing a personal giant.
It was then that I found a little book called, "The Awesome Power of Blessing" by Richard Brunton. As I remember, I opened and read just a small section about the power of blessing, my first thought was,"This will do." I started blessing my adrenal gland and researched its function. I continued to bless my adrenal gland every morning as well as the hormones it released and what it was meant to be doing in my body.
Month by month, test by test the journey continued. Believe you me when I say I had some ups and downs on this road. We finally got a follow-up appointment to meet the specialist at North Shore Hospital again. I remember the morning well as we had to wait for ages, the doctor was running very late. In fact, we allowed a man to go in front of us as he had another appointment that he was about to miss.
Then it was my turn, the doctor invited us into her little room and said, "Well, I only have good news for you”! She sat down read her notes and continued, “ I am so sorry for wasting your time. All the scans and reports have come back and they simply can not find it! " We shared with the the doctor our belief in a God who can do miracle like this. Praise the Lord for all he has done! For this incredible miracle!
Since then we have had many opportunities to share this testimony and see the Lord move even more! For example, a lady getting full movement as well as pain completely leaving her body after a few simple prayers. The fascinating thing about this healing /miracle was that her ankle, prior to this point, was in continuous pain because she had very little movement due to the metal rod and 4 pins in her joint. The Lord restored the movement and took the pain completely away. Wow, the God we serve is amazing!
In conclusion, the power of blessing works! Thank you Lord for my miracle and my healing. Big thank you to Richard for writing a prophetic word that has the power to heal and set people free. Thank you for your obedience to write it and release it in the way you have done! I pray for more revelation and wisdom to come from the Father through you to see even more of our brothers and sister set free in Jesus Name, Amen!

Last Saturday we anointed and blessed a non-Christian friend who was due to go into hospital for an operation on Tuesday. The doctor and nurses said the operation went better than they had ever seen for that surgery, it finished half an hour sooner than normal and the wounds are healing extremely fast.
Praise the Lord. The power of blessing works!

Because of a bad relationship many years ago, with a person that was an alcoholic, I also began myself to drink ... we broke up, and I kept drinking. I had opened many doors to his demons ... so it went worse and worse of course , and my house was a mess, and garden was a mess, everything was a mess. I had panic attacks all the time, my heart began to be weak and I was thinking to take a knife from my kitchen and kill myself. One day I was walking in the market and my town church pastor gave me The Awesome Power of Blessing book, then I reading and started crying and I couldn’t stop. Then again I contact that pastor who gave me the blessing book and then I accepted Jesus Christ and pastor gave me water baptism, that I could not live like this anymore. Next day I started to pray and bless many people. God put a cross in the sky for two seconds, I was free!! I have not had any problems not drinking since I read blessing book and my mum could not understand what had happened but I gave the Awesome Power of Blessing book to my mother and her life also completely changed . And my life and my mother’s life have been wonderful since the Power of blessing! God is good I don’t think that I would be alive today if I don't have the Awesome Power of blessing book - Jesus changed my life.

<strong>God said, "You don’t want my blessing... too bad...I’m going to give it to you anyway."</strong>
I want to let you know how your ministry impacted me when you last spoke at my church. It’s a while ago now but I have always regretted that I was not able to at least say thanks after the service, so here I am, thought I’d just let you know what happened to me that day as you spoke and the great blessing that I received.
I’ll start with the back story. I was in my mid-twenties when I started to wake at night and have these horrible episodes where my heart would begin to race for no reason and something beneath my chest would churn like a ball, my face and limbs would go numb and tingly, then I would start to shake through. Each time it happened I thought I was dying, or about to die. I was hospitalised twice after several tests. Even though they saw something was clearly wrong, they didn’t know what it was or how to fix it and so they sent me home to see how it would develop. Needless to say, the episodes kept happening.
That day at the church, I must admit I was skeptical of what you were saying about blessings. I was put well out of my comfort zone when you asked us to bless the person behind, and then when you asked us to raise our hands to receive the ’Father’s Blessing,’ I might have squirmed. But I did it anyway – everyone else was, so I raised my arms for the first time in church.
I think you were about one sentence into the Father’s Blessing when I felt something begin to happen. Firstly there was an emotional response that came out of nowhere, my eyes started welling up. I did not like the fact that I could not stop crying, I tried to of course, telling myself to stop being such a sook, but could not. At this point an anxiety attack came out of nowhere, strong as i’d ever felt it and too sudden, and this had never happened. I had never experienced one during the day, always only at night. And I was thinking to myself, ‘Oh no. This is not good.’ I was really scared and hoping you would stop talking so it would go away.’ But just then, I felt something very palpable, something very ‘wave-like’ hit me and moved right through me from front to back. That churning ball of whatever it was inside dissolved instantly – gone without a trace. In fact, the scary thing is that it flared up almost as if it knew what was about to happen and sought to resist, but was destroyed anyway, and with such ease by this force.
I was left standing there stunned and largely bewildered. I turned to the lady standing behind me at the close of the service (The one who blessed me) and said, ‘Did you feel that?’
She said, ‘Yeah, that was great, I really needed to hear that right now.’ And I said, ‘No, but did you feel it?’
She smiled and asked what happened. I told her what I experienced, that it felt like something passed through me and did something. I still wasn’t sure what at that point. I know now that it was the Spirit of God healing me because I have not had one of those attacks since that day. They stopped overnight. And that was over a year ago.
So, I just want to say a big thank you. Because of your ministry, courage and faith I was healed. I am clearly a believer in blessings now. 😊 I often wonder why God would have done what he did for me that day, given my poor attitude. I was the least deserving person in the entire congregation. But it was like God said, "You don’t want my blessing... too bad...I’m going to give it to you anyway. Here it is."

<strong>Weight Loss - 37 kg</strong>
I know you like to hear a testimony. At the beginning of the year, after reading your book, I decided to put it to trial. I started speaking blessing over myself. This may sound strange but I started blessing myself with weight loss and blessing myself as a thinner man – and so far I have lost 37 kilos because after a few weeks of speaking blessing over myself I knew I had a shift in the way I was thinking and knew I was in the right frame of mind to commit to a programme. Not finished yet but nearly at goal weight!

I spoke and read out of the book the "Fathers Blessing". I could hardly get it out - I just cried and cried and felt the Lord was healing me. My own father had only ever cursed me and spoken negatively over me until he died. I somehow felt released.

<strong>Never Felt Such Liberty</strong>
Hi Richard just wanted to take a moment to send to you a testimony of a friend of mine who you prayed for. My friend had deep seated father issues due to the way he had treated her as a child to the extent that she was completely fearful of men and would always withdraw when men were around her. If there was a conflict situation where voices were raised she would become very fearful and basically sought to avoid those situations and would leave as soon as it was physically possible to do so.
You prayed the Father's Blessing at the end of the meeting and afterwards she went up for prayer. You then prayed individually for her and God turned up in such a powerful way that all her fear went and she has become a totally different person. She has never felt such liberty in her life. Her countenance has completely changed and there is a lightness in her appearance which was not there before.

<strong>My Words Became Encouraging and Uplifting</strong>

<strong>Overcoming Depression and a Chance Find - 09/09/2019</strong>
Richard, thank you for your booklet, it came to me via unusual circumstances.
I live in Auckland and for the last 26 years I’ve lived at the same address until five months ago when I received an eviction notice which totally uprooted my life. I am 68 years old and this sudden upheaval has been very stressful. I have accumulated a vast amount of assets which required storage until I could find a suitable place [to live].
Due to circumstances beyond my control I was forced to move to a lesser and undesirable place temporarily and not where I thought I would end up. But in this house was your book, which in glancing at, I started to read, and saw how powerful this booklet was.
The man I’m boarding with had received it from a man in Christchurch, your book helped this man overcome depression, and he sent it to Auckland to maybe help his friend.
Richard, The Lord opened my eyes, I was blaming God and reading him the riot act about how He had deserted me for 43 years. But today I blessed Him, blessed my [fellow boarder] and myself and my circumstances.
I feel so different. The atmosphere has changed. My spirit and soul have been lifted, and so has my tenant’s, the unbelievable has happened, I feel different. Thank you for the insight into this little talked about aspect of faith. We know that faith without works is dead faith, but faith with works (such as just to bless), which is extremely easy to do, is very powerful.
In 1999 The Lord healed me of a deadly illness instantly. It was truly a humbling experience, not without future suffering, but no death. The Lord used you in some way to reach me, so I am thanking you in person for your life’s work and I want to bless you as you continually bless others.
I don’t normally do this kind of thing, but here I am putting my faith into action. The Lord impressed upon me to write to you to encourage you to continue what you’re doing as this is well pleasing in His sight.
Richard, I don’t know you at all, but I feel I know you in Christ, and my discernment says you’re the real deal. So be blessed, be mightily blessed in Jesus name in whom you live, move and have your being.

<strong>I've Been Blessing Others at Work </strong>
Our group leader gave us your booklet during one of our meetings. She read and shared some parts of the book in the meeting. I was very touched when she read how we could change the atmosphere and situation around us when we speak blessings over others and the situation.
I have been praying for my non-Christian [work] colleagues for some time. Your book has told me that I could just touch the fabric of the chair which the person sits on, and pray, and believe that God will bless him/her.

<strong>Earlier this year the NZ Herald ran two stories</strong>
both road rage incidents. One was about an 81 year old man who had an altercation with a young man. I don’t remember who was right and who was wrong but it ended up with the angry young man talking to the elderly gentleman as he sat in the driver’s seat with his window open. The elderly man swore at the young man and gave him the benefit of his counsel and received a hard punch in the face in return. The man was severely hurt and traumatised and died a few weeks later.
The second incident, apparently a bus driver cut another driver off. The offended party swore at the bus driver who then called him a f——-g n——r. Big story in the Herald.
The disciple Peter wrote, “Don’t return reviling with reviling or cursing with cursing, but instead bless, because this is what you are called to do, and you will inherit a blessing.” I couldn’t help but think that if the older man had followed this advice he’d probably still be alive and if the man who suffered racial abuse had kept his mouth shut, he wouldn’t have been so deeply wounded.

<strong>Situations Changed Simply by Blessing</strong>
Could I possibly order a further 40 of your books? They have been so popular and there are still many people I would like to give them to.
I have had so many great testimonies from the people I have given the books to! Some of the people I know well have shared with me how they have been released from bitterness towards others, as they have started to bless them and the situations.

You are a blessing to East Africa. All 10,000 books have been distributed to people in parts of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Eastern Congo and there is still a huge demand for more books.
Some people have given me their testimonies of how they have applied the principles from the book to their situations and how God has moved to bring the blessing and that really encourages me. One pastor tells me that he often grumbled because of the small offering the congregation gave on Sundays but when he started blessing the congregation with regards to their income, the offering has increased and the small congregation is now growing bigger.
One woman whose husband has been a drunk kept cursing him when he came home late and dead drunk. She says that when she read the book and started having a different perspective of her husband, she begun to bless him to be what God intended for him. Now the husband doesn't drink as much as he used to and he quite often comes home early. The quarreling has stopped and she praises the Lord for honouring the blessing she has been speaking to her husband.
A few people told me they will write to you to say how the book has blessed them. I wonder if they have done so.

<strong>Interesting Notes from a Pastor in the US</strong>
Please know that your Blessing Book has forever changed me and how I do ministry & is changing the face of the congregation that I lead.
As I write this I just finished my "Blessing Ministry" for the day. I have a 3x5 card made individually for most of the people that come to church either regularly or semi-regularly. I have a standard blessing for each one of them, "The Lord bless you (or continue to...), keep you, protect you, lead you, provide for you, heal you, and give you peace." I pray that blessing individually (or almost individually) over the folks 6 days out of 7. It takes 25-30 minutes to go through the prayer cards.
I then I usually say a second individualized blessing for each person. I have found Ephesians 2:10 to be a good one, "The Lord reveal (continue to...) the good work which God has prepared in advance for you to do." Another regular blessing comes from 2 Peter 3:18, "The Lord work in you (or continue to...) to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ." Another basic blessing comes from Romans 5:2 of the Living Bible, "The Lord work in you (continue to...) to become all that God had in mind for you to be." One other blessing I pray comes from Philippians 1:6, "The Lord who began a good work in you carry it on to completion..."
And for the senior folks who have faithfully followed the Lord for many years, I've adapted Ruth 2:12 & pray, "May the Lord reward you fully for all of the good work which you have done." For children (and for my own 4 year old daughter) I pray Luke 2:52, "Lord, may ________ grow in wisdom, and stature, and in favor with God and man."
There are some other blessings, but for me, these seem to be the blessings that I feel most comfortable praying. I also have a blessing for a young married gal who has not been able to have children so far, "The Lord bless (continue to bless...) your womb so that you will be fruitful and multiply."
I have sensed that any negative type of phrasing should be avoided - even if it's just a very little bit of negative. Any negative at all seems to void the blessing. Also, I have been surprised by the fast "response time" that I have seen in praying blessings upon others. It's as if the Lord is ready to lunge out in love towards people if we will but release the prayers of blessings on them.
Richard, all I can say is that I sense/feel God's smile upon me as I'm blessing people. Also, since doing it regularly I have seen the hearts of people change in the church - and in a fairly short amount of time. Yesterday, in fact, we had the biggest crowd in church that we've had in quite some time, and we had people at the altar for prayer time - and even some young people - and that for us/me is so encouraging.
One quick testimony: Maybe 2 months ago I sensed the Lord saying to me, "Pray the Ephesians 2:10 for an unmarried gal who has very bad cerebral palsy and who also has a 1 year old child.) I thought to myself, "Lord, what ministry can she do?" Well, lo & behold, she got married last week to the father of the child - and they both (all 3) came to church on Sunday. I couldn't help but think that now her great ministry is taking care of her family - and that IS a great ministry! Forgive me, Lord for doubting!
I have also sensed God's pleasure & favour upon me when I pray, "Let there be peace & prosperity in Jerusalem." Since that is the city where God's heart is - it makes sense that He would bless those who say prayer of blessing on the city.

I couldn't help but think that now her great ministry is taking care of her family - and that IS a great ministry! Forgive me, Lord for doubting!
I have also sensed God's pleasure & favour upon me when I pray, "Let there be peace & prosperity in Jerusalem." Since that is the city where God's heart is - it makes sense that He would bless those who say prayer of blessing on the city.

I had the opportunity to read the Nepali version of Richard Brunton's 'Awesome Power of Blessing'. After reading this book my life has changed drastically.
I remember the time when I got saved in my Hindu family. They were very cruel and cold to me. <strong>Blessing Your Family Changes Things</strong>
On Friday, we met a man, N....., who attended the Auckland Believe event. He had been incredibly impacted by your message and reading your blessing book has completely changed his thinking.
He said as a result of attending PK Auckland, he has realised that God has called him to be a leader in his home. Through your messages Richard, he’s recognising his God-given authority to be able to pray and to bless. His family are not Christians, so instead of talking about his views, he is now blessing his wife and his three sons.
He said at the dinner table there used to be loud negative talk but in just a week of blessing his family, he is seeing change, where the conversations are not as negative now.

Thank you for such great teaching and impartation at the Eagle Ascend meeting. I read your book a couple months before yesterday's meeting and thought I knew how to bless and to be blessed.
Last night, however, I learned to put everything that I had read into practice following your great practical teachings (directly from the man who God used to write the book, coolest experience ever). Thank you for the father's blessing, I had no idea how much I needed it until last night. I arrived home and could not wait to bless my two kids with the father's blessing (I just gave them a mother's blessing) believing it is equally effective coming from a single mother.

Our neighbour gave us a few copies of your blessing book in April and we have been enjoying it so very much and sharing it around our friends and family.
At a recent celebration for one of our daughters my husband read the blessing for children and the whole gathering ended up in joyful tears.Some of our children have asked where they can buy copies please. As one son said: "Wow! This is so wonderful!”

The second discussion was with a school teacher who was struggling with kids from [...] who created havoc in his classroom. He had been absolutely amazed at the turn around as he has applied the principles. He uses it at home and his children won't leave home without their blessing for the day.
I asked how the blessing was done. Was it en-masse, face to face or before the class arrived? And was it once only or ongoing?
The answer: He does it ongoingly before the class arrives. He is very conscious of employer's attitude to anything Christian so does it via the throne room of God as opposed to one-on-one or en-masse to the class.

From a pastor who attended a pastors’ conference in Kenya a few weeks ago, heard the blessing message, and then preached it in his church the following Sunday.
"Thanks, many testimonies are coming in since Sunday service, Sister Rosemary, a member in the church, was married to alcoholic husband. We have prayed for the husband over 5 years now but the drinking habit worsened day after day. When I preached how to bless the drunkard husband at the Sunday service she come up and blessed the husband. From Sunday to date the husband has not drunk alcohol.
There’s a lot of testimonies now about the powerful effect of a wife blessing an alcoholic husband in the name of Jesus. Glory to God who breaks the chains of addiction in a moment."

Regarding this testimony about a woman blessing her alcoholic husband and seeing him set free after 5 years of prayer. I have observed this and similar things many times now. I believe that the learning is this: Complaining repels the Kingdom of God. You can pray with no response if there is bitterness in your heart or even an offence against God. Thankfulness on the other hand attracts the Kingdom of God.
Even forgiveness only takes you from overdraft to zero, so to speak, but blessing deposits something in the account - it’s a step beyond mere forgiveness.
Blessing, in Jesus name, releases the Kingdom - healing, deliverance, provision etc because one’s heart is now aligned with the original Blessor, Almighty God Himself. Blessing releases God into a situation to move it from where it is now to where He wants it to be. We have to remember too that God loves the one who has hurt or offended us.
There may be more to it even than the above. Addiction often has a root in rejection and blessing speaks of affirmation, acceptance, love, and breaks off shame etc. Blessing is such a powerful and beautiful thing that we can all do.

Richard, I have found in my interceding for others that just about the best thing I can do for them is to first thank the Lord for them and then to bless them. The Lord seems to take my blessing for them and apply it to just what they need. Much overall health seems to come from blessing people and I don’t just mean physical health. What I/we thank the Lord for (bless) increases and what I/we leave to happen-chance (tends to) dissipate.

Yesterday, I was expecting to host a couple at church. I had met him in Invercargill Prison and had been corresponding since that time. He was released just a month ago to join his partner in Tokoroa. They wanted to see me, but couldn't make it due to unforeseen family obligations. I was disappointed, I was so looking forward to seeing him (I was instrumental in his baptism). Then you gave me the booklet. I went home and read it over lunch. It moved me to the extent that I couldn't wait to bless them and jumped in my car and drove to Tokoroa. After a great reunion over a cuppa tea I was able to bless them both and left, with great joy. Thanks again. I've re-started blessing people and things, like I used to do.

Straight after reading your book I met a man who was struggling with shoulder pain. He was due to have an operation on both shoulders in two or three weeks’ time.
Rather than asking, "Can I pray for you?" as I normally would, I asked permission to BLESS him. He accepted and was immediately able
(after several more requests for more Holy Spirit healing) to lift both arms simultaneously, pain-free, to heights he had not achieved for years and years!
That opened the door to more prayer about his chronic fatigue syndrome that had forced him to enter an early retirement. I asked God to bless him again with full healing. I led him to Christ then commanded the blessing of healing won for him at the cross.
When I left him his arms were high, hands in the air and he was saying of his own accord, praise Jesus and hallelujah, astounded at his good fortune, and knowing for the first time in his 60+ years that God is a LOVING Father who Loves...HIM!
So, to ask to bless is a great opener. Thanks!

<strong>Confidence Growing: Learning to Bless and Pray for Healing</strong>
Hi Richard,
It was wonderful and unexpected to be able to talk to you along with my daughter about a month ago.
After reading your book my daughter and myself were really galvanised into action. We have prayed for people, blessed them to health and encouraged them by giving them a copy of your book to bless their prayer life as well. Each time my daughter managed to pick up the book and read a chapter, someone came into her life who she would have to give the book to. We gave out the first 20 copies to bless others within a month. I had to carry them in my handbag as she was approached by her friends with issues and she would pray for them and give out the book. She encouraged them to bless every situation they were going into. Her friends are reporting back great success.
16th December 2018 The first healing I was involved in after reading your book was at church where a person had a herniated disk. You could actually feel the jelly out of alignment in the spine. The person was bent over and in great pain. The anti-inflammatory that had been taken in the morning had worn off and the person was desperate for healing or more pills. I noticed they were being prayed for and moved to assist . I used what I had learnt in the book about praying for healing and I asked the Holy Spirit for guidance in how to pray. This was the first time I had stepped out in church for a long time to pray for healing, hands on. The Holy Spirit encouraged me to pray for the spine to come into alignment and for every sinew, atom of their being, blood vessel and ligament to be blessed in the name of the Father, Jesus Christ His Son and the Holy Spirit. I blessed all the work of their hands, their going out and their coming in, their ministry for the Lord and every other blessing that came to mind during the prayer. During the time I prayed, I felt the really strong heat in my right hand over the spine. The person could not feel the heat when I told them what I was sensing. But I felt reassured that the blessing was working.
Two weeks later the person came and told me they had been healed that Sunday and that they were really grateful for the healing. They had felt no immediate improvement or the heat I had felt during the prayer. But in just 4 hours they realised they had been completely healed and were pain free, and have not taken any medication since. I was praising God that I had stepped out in faith and blessed them back to health. I constantly use the phrase “in the name of Father, Jesus Christ His Son the the Holy Spirit” to reinforce to the person I am praying for that it is not me. I am only stepping out in faith for them.
The second healing I have had is for myself. I blessed my own skin as I have had for at least 4 years three lesions on my back that were ugly but not cancerous and the doctor would not remove them. I blessed my skin back to health for several nights and checked the following night to see if they were gone. I was expecting them to disappear. I could not reach them myself to scratch them off to see if they would come off and my husband refused to do anything to them either. They appeared to be growing in size height-wise, and looked worse to me. My daughter was putting sunscreen on my back and she said to me, "I feel like I want to scratch at these growths on your back is that okay?" I told her to go ahead and although she has very short fingernails the first one just popped off in her hand. She went ahead and removed the other two as well. The wonderful thing for me is there is no scarring from them and I no longer have to see them in a place I cannot reach.
My daughter and son-in-law prayed the blessing of the Father over their children the other night and one of the boys just sobbed the whole way through, I believe the prayer will be a turning point for his life.
Richard I want to bless you in everything you put your hand to, thank you for your little book, I think the best thing about your book is it is condensed and easy to understand and apply; anyone can read it and be encouraged.

The second healing I have had is for myself. I blessed my own skin as I have had for at least 4 years three lesions on my back that were ugly but not cancerous and the doctor would not remove them. I blessed my skin back to health for several nights and checked the following night to see if they were gone. I was expecting them to disappear. I could not reach them myself to scratch them off to see if they would come off and my husband refused to do anything to them either. They appeared to be growing in size height-wise, and looked worse to me. My daughter was putting sunscreen on my back and she said to me, "I feel like I want to scratch at these growths on your back is that okay?" I told her to go ahead and although she has very short fingernails the first one just popped off in her hand. She went ahead and removed the other two as well. The wonderful thing for me is there is no scarring from them and I no longer have to see them in a place I cannot reach.
My daughter and son-in-law prayed the blessing of the Father over their children the other night and one of the boys just sobbed the whole way through, I believe the prayer will be a turning point for his life.
Richard I want to bless you in everything you put your hand to, thank you for your little book, I think the best thing about your book is it is condensed and easy to understand and apply; anyone can read it and be encouraged.

I have read Roy Godwin's books and learning to speak blessings has changed my perspective altogether from what I would call a defensive position to offensive - opening the way in Jesus' authority for all the power of Holy Spirit to change people's lives and circumstances. You are a blessing to East Africa. All 10,000 books have been distributed to people in parts of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Eastern Congo and there is still a huge demand for more books.
Some people have given me their testimonies of how they have applied the principles from the book to their situations and how God has moved to bring the blessing and that really encourages me. One pastor tells me that he often grumbled because of the small offering the congregation gave on Sundays but when he started blessing the congregation with regards to their income, the offering has increased and the small congregation is now growing bigger.
One woman whose husband has been a drunk kept cursing him when he came home late and dead drunk. She says that when she read the book and started having a different perspective of her husband, she begun to bless him to be what God intended for him. Now the husband doesn't drink as much as he used to and he quite often comes home early. The quarreling has stopped and she praises the Lord for honouring the blessing she has been speaking to her husband.
A few people told me they will write to you to say how the book has blessed them. I wonder if they have done so.

A good friend of mine explained that she was given your book and was so impressed she has got her group of 26 working women to use it as a study tool and encouraged them to step out and operate in the gift of blessing. The group are due to report back to her next week on how that has gone.
The second discussion was with a school teacher who was struggling with kids from low income families often without fathers and who created havoc in his classroom. He had been absolutely amazed at the turn around as he has applied the principles. He uses it at home and his children won't leave home without their blessing for the day.
I asked how the blessing was done - en masse, face to face or before the class arrived, and was it once only or ongoing?
The answer: He does it ongoingly before the class arrives. He is very conscious of employer's attitude to anything Christian so does it via the throne room of God as opposed to one-on-one or en masse to the class.

<strong>'All the Clobber' Strangles Truth</strong>
Just want to say a sincere thank you for coming to our church and blessing us mightily with both your gentle spirit and the awesome lesson shared with us.

<strong>True Blessing, Spoken over Someone Describes the Way God Sees Them</strong>
I was given a copy of your small book, “The Awesome Power of Blessing” by my sister, just a few days ago, while visiting her in Auckland. Having some spare minutes up my sleeve I decided to have a bit of a “man” read through. I liked what I was reading and after about 10 minutes or so put the book down and carried on with my day. Later in the evening my wife, sister, and I talked about the book and thoroughly agreed on what you had written.
The following evening, my wife and I were driving back to Tauranga and pulled into the Autobahn just past Papakura to pick up a coffee. I had just gotten out of the car when a scruffy-looking guy in his mid-twenties called out to me and asked if I could give him some money so that he could put some petrol in his car in order to drive home. Without thinking I said to him “Okay, go over to the pump and put some petrol in your car and I will go inside and pay the guy on the till.” He said, “How much shall I put in?” To which I replied (the words just came out of my mouth), “Fill it up.” The young man sort of protested, but I repeated my instruction to “just fill it up.”
He thanked me and was about to drive his car over to the pump when another guy came out from the service station shop, came over to the young man, handed him $10.00 and said, “That’s all I can spare.” The young guy thanked him, looked at me and said, “Put that towards paying for the petrol I’m going to put into the car.”
I then said to him, “No, he has given that $10.00 to you, so you keep it and go and fill up your car.” He was a bit taken aback at what I had said, but then got into his car and amid more thanks drove over to the pump. I then went inside the station to wait for the amount to be registered so that I could pay for the petrol.
However, the guy having driven over to the pump, then got out of his car, went over to where my wife was standing, gave her a big hug and thanked her for the petrol. Then he came into where I was waiting and as he stood there the guy behind the counter started shouting at him to get out. He then went on to accuse him of begging for money around the petrol station and said that if he did not clear off he would phone the police. Everyone in the petrol station shop could easily hear this guy berating the young man and I reckoned what he was saying was probably true. The young man protested his innocence, but after a further tirade from the guy behind the counter he decided to head back to his car.
Understandably, because I was standing between the guy behind the counter and the young man, I was a bit stunned by what had just happened, so I then said to the guy behind the counter that I wanted $40.00 in cash via my credit card, which he then gave me, and I then went back outside. I walked over to the young guy, who was standing by his car, and said to him, “I don’t need to know what that was all about, I just want to bless you,” and gave him the $40.00. He thanked me and I went back to my car and drove off. As we continued our journey back to Tauranga, my wife and I praised the Lord for having us bless that young man.
The little bit of your book that I did read included the words: “Don’t judge. Don’t judge whether someone deserves a blessing or not. True blessing, spoken over someone or something, describes the way God sees them. God’s focus is not on how they may appear to be at the moment, but rather the way they are supposed to be.” That was the bit that was going through my mind/heart the whole time I was involved with this scruffy, young man. It was as though I was not - in and of myself - determining what I was doing, although I felt empowered to do it. As a result of that experience my wife and I have shared with our family of believers back here in Tauranga the awesome power of blessing we had experienced and they each now want a copy of the booklet to read for themselves. Can’t say I blame them, can you?
I figure I am going to need about ten of these booklets to meet immediate demands so having this morning discovered your email address in the back of the booklet here I am with my testimony on how the Lord has blessed me through what you have written, asking how I can order 10 copies and how to make payment for same.

I have never met you or heard you speak, but over the past few months I have been practicing the scriptural principle of speaking a blessing over people's lives. Our home group leader gave each of us a copy of your book and we read it and practiced on each other first, and then we have been looking for opportunities to speak a blessing over others in our day to day life.
At the end of your book you ask for feedback on how blessing has transformed your life. Attached is a copy of 3 pages of my journal in which I have documented an amazing day with the Lord, a day on which I look back on as "5 blessings in one day."
The day starts with blessing a sick dog, and it was like the Lord led me step-by-step through the morning in increasing steps of obedience until the final step which required boldness. The Lord led me to go up to a couple in their car, knock on their window and offer to bless them. Complete 'cold calling,' so to speak, without even building up relationship with a brief chat first.
It is hard to explain how blessing has transformed my life. In my brief experience so far, no person has turned down a blessing - even the Muslim man. Offering to pray a blessing over a person's life opens a door.....it is such a simple non-threatening way to bring the Kingdom of God into a situation ...into a person's life. For me, being able to pray a blessing has added a very special tool to the tool kit... it's like a part of my life was missing and has now been slotted into place.

<strong>Salty and Muscular Christianity</strong>
Reading your book has helped solve one of the main spiritual issues I faced. The thorny problem of how to stay close to God.
When I realised that I was empowered to bless, I felt able to grasp hold of a force that kept the Lord in my mind, and the issues I faced and the distractions of the world were not intruding to the extent that God was forgotten. I have by no means won the battle for total spiritual awareness, but I am sure that it is one I can fight with more vigour because I am blessed by God’s love and He in turn permits me to bless others.
I know too by the enthusiastic response I have had when speaking about your book to others that this is not my experience alone.

I go to the ……… Community Church and various ones have already begun blessing in this way and they haven't even read your book yet! The thing that I have noticed is that it has changed me. I can't bless people who have irritated me, for example, and then speak or even think wrong thoughts about them. That would be wrong. Instead I am looking for good results to come from the blessing. One of those friends took action by walking around his neighbourhood praying a blessing on each household as he passed by and anointing the letterbox with oil as he passed. In one particular case an Imam invited the Bishop into his home. After sharing the gospel, the Holy Spirit fell on the Imam and he spoke in tongues for several minutes - as in chapter 10 in the book of Acts. Although there is much fear around being openly Christian, and despite Covid lockdowns, the Bishop baptised over 200 people last year. God is on the move. Love this.

<strong>We have testimony from Somalia.</strong>
We gave The Awesome Power of Blessing book to a Muslim man long time ago and there is a tribe of Somalia who killed his parents, two brothers and one sister.
Many times this man tried to kill the peoples of this tribe and every day he spoke negatively to them and cursed them but after reading The Awesome Power of Blessing book his life has completely changed. Then he began to speak blessings to his enemies and speak positive to them and after reading the blessing book. And then God started doing great things in his life and he gave his life to Jesus Christ.
